Northeast Houston Community Center (formerly Farrington Mission) is our physical needs mission in Houston's Eastex-Jensen area. Volunteers share the Gospel with people from the community while providing basic food and clothing needs. We also do large group evangelism events like a Spanish-themed Fiesta Familiar and our annual community Thanksgiving dinner.
God has used NEHCC to feed thousands and save hundreds of people.
Through mission-minded serving, volunteers experience the movement of God as they see and hear of clients accepting Jesus as Lord!
In 2022 volunteers with NEHCC provided food and clothing to over 5,900 families and celebrated 268 decisions for Christ. Join us as we continue this vital community work in 2023!
VOLUNTEER NEEDS
NEHCC is open to guests every Monday (except holidays and sometimes 5th Mondays) from 6:00-8:00 pm. Volunteers serve on a rotating basis either monthly, biweekly, or weekly.
Mondays | 8:30-11:00 am | Food Prep & Clothes Sorting
Mondays | 5:45-8:15 pm | Computer Intake, Cart Loaders, Evangelism, Spanish Translators
