Shepherding - Teen Ministry

Serve Through

Our purpose at NEHBC is to make disciples. These ministries are on the front lines of intentional and deliberate disciple - making among various age groups and seasons of life.

TEEN MINISTRY

The vision of the Student Ministry of NEHBC is to proclaim the Gospel, foster community, and pursue holiness. This is not possible without the support of our committed volunteers who nurture this vision by building relationships with students through the following roles:

sunday morning (9:00 AM)

Small Group facilitator

Small Group Facilitators are vital volunteers in building community ministry-wide by fostering community within small groups and driving the gospel deeper into the lives of individual students. Small Group Facilitators are assigned a group of 5-8 students to meet with each Sunday for the entirety of the school year. Facilitators lead discussions with their small group based on questions provided by StuMin LifeGroup Teachers. They also communicate announcements, plan socials (3-4 per year), and participate with their respective small group’s weekend getaway. Due to the small group nature, Facilitators are on the front edge of leading teens to the gospel and watching them grow in their faith.

wednesday night

stumin wednesday volunteer

Each Wednesday during the school year students meet for a time of worship, teaching, or large group activities. Volunteers are needed to assist with check-in, welcome, game time, music, and response. Wednesday Volunteers serve for the duration of the school year (including December) but break in the summer (June- August). Wednesday gatherings for students include worship services, Epic Wednesdays, small group nights, and student-led nights.
