Sunday 9:00am or 10:30am

Children in kindergarten - 4th grade are invited to attend one of two identical Potter’s Wheel sessions at 9:00am or 10:30am and attend worship with their family at the alternate hour. Potter's Wheel sessions offer a comprehensive sequential study of great stories of the Bible organized into 3-6 week units appealing to a variety of learning styles.  Each story points the child to the redemptive story of Jesus Christ.

To Our Guests:

Welcome to Northeast Houston Baptist Church. We are excited to have your children in the Children’s Ministry today.    Let us explain the Sunday Morning Children’s Ministry plan.

Little Blessings Hallway

Birth through 3 Years Old

  • We offer care for all children birth through age three during both our 9:00 and 10:30 worship service. Children are encouraged to stay in the children’s area during both services.

Pre-Kindergarten (Children 4-5 years old and entering Kindergarten next fall)

  • Because we believe that children learn to worship best with their parents, we ask that your children in Pre-Kindergarten attend a children’s LifeGroup one hour and attend worship service with parents/caregivers the other hour.  Identical classes for these children are held at the 9:00 and 10:30 services. Simply choose which hour you would like your child to attend LifeGroup.

Unit 33: Forging Faith

Children will:

  • Learn that Peter and Jesus walked on water during a storm.
  • Recognize that faith is marked by a focus on Christ, and rewarded by a display of the power of Christ.
  • Learn that obedience to Jesus does not always lead to pleasure but always leads to a deeper understanding of who God is and His character.
